Salvatore "Sal" Marchetti learned to make dough from his grandmother Antonella in Avellino, Italy. When his family emigrated to the US in 1987, he brought her recipes — and her spirit — with him.
After decades of Sal working as a contractor and his wife Gemma as a school librarian, their kids are grown and they're finally pursuing the dream: a neighborhood pizzeria on Main Street in Beacon.
We're on Main Street in Beacon, right in the heart of town. Look for the wood-burning oven glow through the windows.
